Our Beginnings: ADM’s predecessor, Panco Inc., begins manufacturing asphalt plants and later rebrands to Asphalt Drum Mixers Inc.

1978

May 1, 2019

SPL Series Built: ADM develops and builds the 60 to 160 TPH SPL Series asphalt plant, offering low cost production while maintaining a high-quality mix. The entire plant travels on a single trailer.

1989–1990

RoadBuilder Series Comes to Market: ADM develops the 110 to 350 TPH RoadBuilder Series asphalt plant, featuring a parallel flow system that maximizes heat transfer by moving moisture-laden asphalt in a rotating, veiled pattern away from the fuel-efficient burner.

MileMaker Series Developed: ADM develops the 160 to 425 TPH MileMaker Series asphalt plant. The plant uses separate drying and mixing zones for maximum heat transfer and fuel efficiency. The revolutionary dual-drum counterflow technology delivers the highest volume production at the lowest cost per ton.

1,000th Plant Built: ADM celebrates building its 1,000th asphalt plant, a SPL Series.

EX Series Developed: ADM develops the 100 to 425 TPH EX Series asphalt plant, featuring counterflow technology to virtually eliminate unsafe hydrocarbon emissions and meet all federal and state specifications. The new plants are also capable of processing high percentages of RAP.

2014

Frac Dryers: ADM refocuses its aggregate dryers’ design to meet the hydraulic fracking industry’s demand for high quality specially purposed dryers, providing optimal drying efficiency, uniform drying and high throughput of sand.

Sand Heaters: ADM reintroduces the sand heater at the 2019 World of Concrete in Las Vegas, NV, with more than 10 times the heating power of water for uncompromised product integrity.
